A closer look at collections
Collections let you organize and share your grips. You can create new collections from your dashboard or add them through "Organize" option in the extension. You can always edit a collection like change its name or description by logging into your account.
Use collections to organize your grips
Organize learning
You can think of your collection as a project or a task name for which you are learning online. By default you will get a collection "General Learning" when you signup for EnGrip.

Share Collection

You can share your collection with others from your dashboard. When a collection is shared, people who visit your collection can see all public learnings gripped under that collection.

Think you and your colleague are working on a project and you want to share your research along with your inputs with your colleague. You can accomplish this by gripping all your learnings under a collection, attach your thoughts using "EnGrip Notes" feature in our extension and then share the collection with your colleague.

Easy, isn't it!

Choose your default collection
Choose default collection
You can choose what should be your default collection so that you need not organize every grip you make. This can be done by navigating to your "Extension Settings" > "Default Collection for Your Grips". You will have "General Learning" as your default collection until you change it.

Change collections
You can move grips to a different collection after gripping. You can also add new collections via this option. Note that a grip should be part of at least one collection.

Delete empty collection(s)
Delete Collection

If you have created a collection by mistake or for test purposes, you can now delete that from your dashboard.

The "Delete" button will be visible only if the collection has no grips linked to it. If the collection that you want to delete has grips linked to it, you first need to move those grips to a different collection before you could delete this collection. As of now, we don't allow bulk movement of learnings between collections. Users need to do it one after another.
